Introduction to the Open Data for Oman Exports Center

The Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) of Oman emphasizes the importance of open data in enhancing its operations. By making raw data accessible, the Ministry supports planning and delivers valuable outputs. This initiative allows diverse users to benefit from data for research, commercial, and other purposes. 

An internal team at MoCIIP ensures the availability and sustainability of open data through the Ministry's website and the official e-government portal. This effort aligns with Oman’s national priorities, including Oman Vision 2040, the Tenth Five-Year Plan (2021-2025), and the National Program for the Digital Economy (2021-2025). By promoting open data, the Ministry fosters innovation, transparency, and informed decision-making, contributing to Oman's digital economy and sustainable development.
